Acupuncture is extremely effective for many conditions and
improvements often show in subtle ways over several sessions. I understand that receiving regular treatments may be difficult for some due to other financial obligations.

In response to this, I am offering a "sliding scale" form of
payment in place of the standard rate for those who are finding it difficult to receive the treatments necessary for their condition.

Not only does this help those with any financial hardship, but it also helps those who have limited acupuncture benefits through their health insurance. It is common for many insurance companies to deny claims, cut off benefits or limit the number of treatments you can receive to only a few. This results in having to pay out-of-pocket and in turn, struggling financially to receive the care that is making you better.

The sliding scale system is designed to lower the cost of
treatments to that of the average co-payment required by many insurance providers.

I do not believe that healthcare should be accessible only to
those who can afford it or who are lucky enough to have an
insurance plan with acupuncture benefits.

I want to separate the issues of money and treatment. Needing to skip treatments or stop them entirely will prevent you from reaching your goals.
